Port of Seattle Parking Services and Revenue Representative in Seattle, Washington

Some of what you'll be doing:

As a Parking Services and Revenue Representative you will provide excellent customer service and collect revenue from our customers that use the parking garages at SEA airport.

  • You will provide customer service in the parking facility.

  • You will collect revenue from those exiting the parking facility.

  • You will drive for extended periods of time to conduct nightly inventory of all vehicles parked in the garage with the use of drive-through automated technology.

  • You will assist customers in the parking garage as part of the Ambassador Program with a variety of questions and concerns.

  • You will work an unscheduled part-time position that requires working a variety of shifts, covering the needs of the operation.

Who you are:

  • Experienced – You have customer service experience and the ability to lift up to 30lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Desired – We hope you have six (6) months or more of cashiering experience, excellent customer service, problem solving in a high-volume and fast paced work environment.

  • Technologically Savvy – You have technical skills in using a 10-key adding machine, electronic cash register, and a computer keyboard during each shift.

  • Customer Service Minded – You are skilled in effectively providing a high level of customer service and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Cash Handling – You have excellent cash handling abilities including counting dues, providing accurate change, and accountability for monies received is essential.

What else you need to know:

  • Driver’s License – You will need a valid Washington State Driver’s License, or the ability to obtain one, is required in order to travel locally to project sites.

  • Work Schedule – This is a seven day a week and twenty-four hour a day facility. Normal work schedule will vary. Must be able and willing to work all assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Work Environment – You will generally work 80% - 100% of the shift walking outdoors in all types of weather conditions or driving a customer service vehicle throughout the facility. You may be exposed to vehicle and exhaust fumes.

  • Washington State Residency Requirement – Employees must establish a residence in Washington state within 30 days of their first day of employment and must maintain a residence in Washington State during their employment with the Port of Seattle. If a position is eligible to telework, work performed while teleworking must be performed in Washington State.

  • Overtime Eligible – You are eligible for overtime pay in this role.

  • Safety Requirements – You will be required to comply with all work rules, safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

  • Security Requirements – As the successful candidate, you must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check as well as a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Your employment will be contingent upon obtaining a Port of Seattle ID badge upon clearance.

  • Union Representation – This position is represented by Teamsters union, Local 117.
